The Big Mystery Machine

The Big Mystery Machine according to Hepzi in one of her photo's uploaded to one of the competitions on Luxor4u

Today that The Big Mystery Machine was working near my flat so i took a few photo's for you... This machine is just a bigger version of a concrete mixer which they use to lay the foundations and everything else like the supports etc that are made out of concrete.

The Boys/Men use a cross between a rake and a shovel which they use to scrape the sand and stones into a bucket, they then through this into a big container at the front of the machine, I don't think they is any consistency, sometimes I saw 3 buckets of stones, 2 buckets of sand, some cement and water thrown in, other times it was 4 buckets of sand, 2 buckets of stones, cement and water... Yes another only in Egypt...




The container is then lifted up and poured into the concrete mixer, water is then thrown into the concrete mixer and is mixed for about 15 seconds only.




A man then turns the big wheel and empties the contents of the concrete mixer down a wooden made slide.

[face=Comic Sans MS]At the time it was hard to decide if was concrete mixer becasue of the building work going on nearby, tar mixing/laying machine because of it being covered in an oily black and the road being huge pits. Maybe it's a one machine does all - who knows. [/face]
