Urgent request! I'm about to try out your leek, celery and potato soup and I've noticed you haven't used any onions in it. Is this correct please? :)

Thanks Horus, but too late mate! Made, blended and eaten for lunch! DH has just gone back for his 3rd helping - so I think that one comes as 'HIGHLY RECOMMENDED'! :up

Glad you enjoyed it RS :up but like most of the stuff I make it is usually very flexible so if you added onion and it was tasty, then fine ;)
I remade my Moroccan Chickpea soup yesterday (another very easy one) but I decided to add just a sprinkle of dried Chillies this time and it really gave it an additional lift :eat
Did you find the recipe easy to follow and worked out OK?

It was very easy to follow and worked out fine, thank you! Since I was ill at Christmas, I still can't eat much so a hot soup fills the void nicely. So much better than a tin or a packet too! I am cooking quite a lot lately but DH is usually the grateful recipient. I made a gorgeous golden syrup and ginger steamed pudding last week, which he devoured in double quick time, but when he came in from shopping today, he had a bag of vanilla doughnuts with him, so I will indulge in one shortly. :D Just waiting for the soup to go down!

Not that you need it RS at your weight, but it is very slimming as it has very few calories :up (it will help counter DH's Doughnuts   )
