The times and travels

Post by LovelyLadyLux »

Just wondering are all the issues - missing flights, attacks, crashing planes by German pilots - are these incidents and happenings in the world starting to or have they been starting to impact your own travel plans? Are you doing anything different now than a few years previous? Or have you actually thought of a contingency plan "just in case" something happens during your travels?

LLL, I think these incidents soon die in the memory and we get back to booking holiday and business travel as normal.

I agree with Grandad, but I do usually have some sort of alternative plan if things go wrong.

I guess these die but lately I've been thinking more and more about contingency plans if things should suddenly go awry. How prepared should one be these days?

My gf and her gf are booked on the same flight leaving Spain that the crazy German pilot crashed. They were beside themselves with worry and concern (particularly since we were having coffee and chatting before we knew the pilot deliberately crashed it).

Been thinking to myself if travel needs to be curtailed or should it be 'business as usual' ?
