Security at Airports

Just getting ready for my trip and, as always, thinking about all the security issues at airports I might face. I have a clear plastic case to carry all my teeny tiny liquids in, keep my monopod in my big luggage and now there are new rules about the size of carryon luggage. I think my carryon should meet with new regulations but am not sure.

I do believe a crack down on carry on luggage is a good thing as many people are now carrying on everything 'cept the kitchen sink as they don't want to pay for an extra suitcase.

I try and travel really light and take only the bare minimum I need. Don't mind wearing the same clothes a few times when I travel. Not my preference but I can tolerate it when the trips are basically fairly short so long as I can get them all rinsed out.
