Not yet Grandad, the trojan that was installed looks like it was from the 'keygen' file which as you may or may not know generates crack codes for programes, so someone snook in a trojan. It is probably harmless, but run 'Malawarebytes' and see what that comes up with. If it shows up again go to this link and follow the instructions for removing a generic trojan which requires that you turn off system restore, hopefully the program itself will still be ok once the trojan is removed and it should not come back again unless you were to re-install it again using the 'keygen' code.
Just be aware of an email scam that promises to keep you updated with CNN type news links on the Royal baby.

We use AVG 9.0 on our laptops under XP Pro. I must admit I often have multiple tabs on multiple browsers but have never experienced any of the problems our Goddess has described.
I had a look in my Programs from the Control Panel, it is there but cant find it anywhere on my desktop etc etc.

Very often a new virus scanner will switch off another version that may be running, that is why MSE came back on after you deleted AVG.
