Well they are working, so you must have scripts turned off or a program you have running is blocking them.

Let us know after testing from your friends house :)

Will do, will let you know. I don't mind so much these type things happening if I knew WHY and if I could fix it but different things happen computer-wise out of the blue and I haven't clue what causes them. Vexing.....

What browser are you using LLL? (version number would be helpful too, like Microsofr explorer 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 for example, I can do some tests then :)

My browser is Internet Explorer. That is the one the laptop is set to default to and when the laptop comes on it goes to Google (not Chrome) just Google.

While explorer is running if you click on help (somewhere at the top of the browser) then click on about, it will tell you the version of explorer you are running. let me know this please. :)

Hey - ooops - not up on stuff like browsers et.

I'm running Internet Explorer 11, Version 11.09600

Thanks for that :)

After checking through most of Explorer 11 the only way I have been able to replicate your problem is like I have said in a previous post, the running of scripts is turned off.

To check id this is your problem: (in explorer 11)

Click Tools then internet options

A box will pop-up, choose the security tab, click the custom level button, scroll down the list till you come to scripting then active scripting this should be enabled, if its not then enable it and click ok.


If that does not work or the active scripting was enabled restore explorer 11 to the original settings:

Click Tools then internet options

A box will pop-up, choose the advanced tab, click the Reset button, another box will pop-up, click reset, close your browser after this then re-open it.

If none of this works, then I have no idea :ni:

Ok am now on the daughter's laptop - soooo testing testing testing

Italics

underline
And I bet I can even quote now too. I know the bold, italics, underline are working cause I can see the [] etc coming up as soon as I highlight and then click on the appropriate button top row.
So it is ME and my crummy old laptop. I've done as you've suggested Keefy (post above) and nothing is happening...NEW laptop time!! :) :up :up
