Re: Tablet Talk
There is often some option that can interfere with something else, earlier I was complaining because despite my best efforts my tablet was not recognised by my PC, but after I found a setting called 'enable debugging on USB' and turned it off my tablet connected without any problem and can be read and edited like any other drive. :d2:

Re: Tablet Talk
Found a way to get rid of on screen keyboard, don't know if its the same for everyone's tablet but mine is Go to Settings > Language & Keyboard > you have a choice of On screen keyboard or Android keyboard > I ticked on Android keyboard & it took me to another menu where I have a few choices such as > Auto-Capitalization > Sound on keypress etc etc ...
Much easier with my mini keyboard & mouse than the On screen/touch keyboard.

Re: Tablet Talk
Problem solved then Kiya As is so often the case, the solutions are there but hidden away in menus somewhere..
On another tablet topic, I see that Apple have introduced a mini ipad with 7.9" screen. I always did think that the 10" screen was rather large for a 'portable' device. My Archos is also 7.9" and I find that size is perfectly adequate.

Re: Tablet Talk
I discovered that as soon as I plugged my mini keypad in to my tablet it disabled the onboard keypad which was handy.
I have just been having a look at the new Windows 8 operating system which works across PC and tablet formats and I must say it looks quite impressive. Not so sure I would want it on my laptop or PC as a touch screen version though, too messy on a larger screen, all those finger prints, although it does support being used with a mouse and keyboard.
