Is there anyone here who thinks Iran is making a nuclear bomb?

Just wondering what people think.

Possibly 8)

Unacknowledged: Israel

Seeking: Iran (2)

Abandoned: South Africa—Constructed but then voluntarily dismantled six uranium bombs. Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine—When Soviet Union broke up, these former states possessed nuclear warheads that they have since given up.

1. North Korea tested its first nuclear device on October 9, 2006.
2. In Aug. 2005, U.S. intelligence estimated that Iran would possess nuclear weapons in the next decade. In Jan. 2006, Iran announced its decision to restart nuclear research. Source: U.S. State Department, TIME magazine and the Nuclear Threat Initiative.

Don't you think though that the IAEA would have found it by now.

You can't build nuclear reactors and stations these days without the world knowing about them, with all the satellites and technology. The world knew about Qom long ago.
According to the IAEA terms they did not have to notify them till 6 months before. Iran notified them 18 months before I think?.
They have an open invitation with the IAEA and allow them inspections 24/7.
The IAEA say they don't have any evidence they are making them. None.

So what is the real story?

poll is 50/50 so far

Voting closed.

I would say yes, it makes perfect sense, if only to protect yourself from your non transparent neighbor who has about 200 Nukes.

There's only one country who is not a Party to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.. 3 guesses who that could be ;)

My vote would be "Aiwa" in part cause I can't think of 'why not' particularly given their geographical location.
