LLL, the top brass for Egypt would be = Supreme Commander, then Minister of Defence & Commander-in-Chief, then Chief of Staff.
Below them are the ranks of:
Field Marshal, Colonel General, Lieutenant General, Major General, Brigadier General, Colonel, Lieutenant Colonel, Major, Captain, Lieutenant, Second Lieutenant, Chief Warrant Officer, Warrant Officer, Staff Sergeant, Sergeant, Corporal, Private. And that’s only the Army ranks, we still have the Air Force and Naval sectors.
Most army coups are usually instigated by ranks of Colonel and below, mainly because they have more contact with the actual troops than those above them. ;)

No prizes for guessing who funds the Egyptian Military either LLL 8)

This was why America didn't need to get involved, there was no point.
Mubarak out, just get another few puppet's out of the box to show the populous of Egypt, and let them think they are living in a true democracy after the elections.. poor sod's..

Libya on the other hand.. Maybe Obama should dig out some of the CIA's paper work from Reagan's administration..
That silly old fool didn't even know what day it was half the time, let alone understand the complexities of the Lockerbie bombing.

How influential do you think Ghaddafi's sons are? I've heard his oldest speak and he is a bright guy and, to me, I wouldn't be suprised to find out that the sons are really the control behind the old man.

Many of Ghadaffi's speeches are not intelligible. He makes no sense but somebody is calling the shots in Libya in a comprehensive way.......WHO might this really truly be?

One of Gaddafi's son's must be influential enough to have the coalition forces bomb his house and kill him and his 3 children.

So much for the coalition forces bombing military installations and tanks.. :?

and so much for the POPULAR uprising.. Gadaffi is no fool, that's why he will not stand down. He was the best thing to happen to that country for over half a century. it's just that the west have other ideas about who should run Libya ( and control it's oil) ;)
