I mentioned on another thread that I have just made contact with a first cousin once removed whose family I have not been in contact with for many years.
We have joked that we have not found any hidden fortunes in our searches BUT he tells me today that on his wifes line going back 200 years there is a will which is still being contested which has a most recent valuation of £15 billion.
His comment is that it will probably continue to be 'contested' but he lives in hopes
As we both agree that our own paternal lines seem to lead to labourers and even workhouses, the likelihood of hidden fortune seems very remote

No hidden fortunes in my lineage that I've ever heard of. Maybe one day but so far to date - zip! Always worth a dream though.
