Lapland, a wonderful day spent with my little mate and one I won't forget. Early start, 3hr 15m flight and it is possible for a child to ask "are we there yet" every 10 mins , -18 when we landed at midday with the sun starting to set, winter clothes supplied then a short coach journey to a ice hotel. Once there we was given a helmet for a journey through the woods on a ski doo to see the big man himself in his house, on our return to the hotel it was up to us what we did, so after dinner it was Raindeer ride followed by sledging then huskies then more sledging. Then all to soon it was time to head back to the airport for the return flight.
Landed and the sun is setting.
Helmet on waiting to go
Catching a warm before Santa time
I'll take that thank you
Waiting for the Raindeers
Sledging time
Back at the airport

Re: Lapland
Fantastic BK And a pretty convincing looking Santa.
Keep the magic going for her until they eventually wise up.

Re: Lapland
Super interesting BK and the granddaughter is definitely gorgeous! Am gathering from the face in the last picture she wasn't keen on returning home and might have liked to stay longer in the land of midnight sun, reindeers and Santa!

Re: Lapland
Fantastic adventure for her BK lets hope she still has the memories when she is a lot older, as for the pictures, number three would make a lovely framed image and if it were me I would use it as a family Christmas card next year
