Haunted place programs

Post by DJKeefy »

When I eventualy retire to bed Ive started to watch a few programs on the various Discovery and Nat Geo channels etc, quite a few of them are these haunted places, ghost hunter programs... What I want to know is why these programs are always filmed at night with green night vision in so called haunted places, most of the programs are in places where there is electricity, so why not turn the lights on, Do ghosts/spirits only come out at night ? (my kind of life, suits me fine) according to some on the Blue side Im awake at unsociable hours, maybe im a ghost

I've often wondered that, but of course the real reason is that as nothing ever happens they have to make then scary by having people sitting in the dark so that they can scare the crap out of them.

What are 'unsocialable' hours? And, hey - doesn't wearing night vision goggles always make ghosts more visible? ;)

I guess it's the same principle as the old vampire movies. Remember they always arrived to kill the vampire just as dusk was falling and the vampire was awakening. Even as a child I used to wonder why they didn't just leave earlier  .

Keefy I'm a night person also. I watch all sorts of crap on TV in the wee small hours. Might I suggest some of the real crime stuff as an alternative to watching D-list superannuated celebrities having the crap scared out of them. The problem with that stuff is you spend half your time trying to remember who these people are. Wasn't she in.....? Didn't he.....? Much more annoying than the shows themselves ;) .

I watch all sorts, it must be a ghost month on tv at the moment to why there is so many of these type programs to be on.

Anyway sod that for a game of soliders, after last night, thats it!! Im laid in bed watching another one of these type of programs which was quite good cause it was like a reconstruction of events that happened (so it was not all in the night and pitch black) a ghost appeared and started to dash around the room very quickly, the person in the house started to follow the ghost asking it "what do you want" im thinking whooo, ****!!!, scary... I would run out of the house if that happened to me, JUST THEN the electric in my flat went off, at the same time something jumped on my chest and stuck its claws in me (it was the cat), call me what you want, BUT I SCREAMED

I've heard the brown stains come out of the sheets if you get them soaking in some warm water right away! ;) ;)

I cant believe this.... something strange is happening 8)

Laid in bed again watching the satellite tv on my laptop, I have a dreambox reciever in my room, this broadcasts the satellite to any computer over the wi-fi.
Anyway I was watching BBC Entertainment (polsat) on hotbird when the electric went off again, this time it was only for about 10 seconds (common in Egypt) of course this re-booted the dreambox, however when it come back on it was on a different channel showing TOM AND JERRY, not only that but tom was been chased by some ghosts  HOW SPOOKY

Another spooky thing happened last week, I was talking to HurghadaLady on the telephone and I had Al Jazeera Tv on, we was talking about the elections, HurghadaLady came out with a sentence (not a short sentence and not something that is common to say), at the same time the reporter on TV came out with the exact sentence word for word that HurghadaLady just said, I said oh your watching Al Jazeera, she said no im in the kitchen. :?

Oh dear, Keefy! I recommend a good book instead of TV! Preferably NOT 'Dracula' though! :bashpc: :worry:

You can download that one as a free book from Amazon, the book is far better than any film.
