Earthquake and Tsunami in Japan!
I'm starting to get the feeling I'm boxed in. Can't travel south - earthquakes in S. America, can't go west cause of the huge earthquake today in Japan and with all the troubles brewing in north Africa/middle east I'm not sure where is left......leave me with North but that is the Artic!
On a serious note - just home from work and watching the devastation of the earthquake in Japan. Awful.

I guess we have got used to just hopping on a plane and flying anywhere we choose. but now we may have to reconsider and not take this luxury for granted.
Volcanic and earthquake activity has been on the rise of late and will continue to do so for some time to come.
of course, the North African troubles are not spontaneous as many would have you believe and it will be interesting to see what sort of governments these people adopt.
I'll leave the Arctic and Antarctic to the polar bears and penguins

Agreed Christine, not only the impact of a meltdown, but the loss of electricity to those that the power station supplied. It will be tough going for these people for a long time to come..
The Guardian are doing live reports here..
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/ma ... rmath-live
This statement seems a bit nonsensical.
11.41am: Japan's chief cabinet secretary, Yukio Edano, has told a press conference that "it has yet to be confirmed whether [the explosion at Fukushima No 1 plant] was that of a nuclear reactor itself".
Ermmm What else is going to go BANG in a nuclear power plant I wonder ??
Anyone keeping count on the number of natural disasters that have hit this earth recently ?

Along those lines Keefy..
It's not the end of the world as we know it, that is impossible, but it marks the end of something..
Let's just say that anytime after 2012, then mankind is certainly going to be questioning things as events unfold.
There will be events taking place that will make people think and lies that have been with us for thousands of years will be exposed. Then we will start to move forward.. I have no idea how long it will take to reach the number required, but as they say, a candle can light a lot of darkness..
Anyhow, I don't think I will be contributing financially to this Tsunami relief in Japan, as they are all minted !
I saw a bloke being interviewed on telly and he had 2 massive boats parked on his driveway...

I agree about them not needing our financial help, Japan is a wealthy country However, we should offer whatever practical help we can give in the way of specialists and equipment and or other items that may help them relieve the current situation. Whether or not we ask for payment is another matter, but we should at least extend a helping hand regardless of their wealth.
I dont think any amount of money can do much in such a situation.....and I believe that we will see much more of the power of nature in days to come. All we can do is pray for them and send love and light, but it appear that the ring of fire is coming to life?
It appears that the earthquake was 9.1 and not 8.9 as initially recorded
It seems a volcano has erupted in Indonesia shortly after the Japan earthquake
http://theextinctionprotocol.wordpress. ... arthquake/
As we begin to enter the dark rift of the galaxy the gravitational equilibrium between the earth and sun will be challenged and thus there will be more disturbances in solar activity and internal pressures that lie on the earth surface and beneath there will be an influx of natural disasters and their magnitude until 2012 Dec 21 where there will be a magnetic pole shift turning the rotation of the earth and positioning of the north and south poles during that time there will be unspeakable world destruction, according to at least one of the many theories that abound.
But however you want to explain it, the truth is that it is becoming increasingly clear that the earth is becoming very unstable.

IN All honesty, come January 2013 everyone will be saying " There goes another end of the world theory"
It will take a little while for events to unfold, after all, after 5000 years there's no big rush to jump straight in.
Think what happened in 1997. Exactly 14 years to the day Tomorrow (Sunday). That event was just a small reminder for us.
Peace and Light..

Not sure on this (and i have just woke up) was the millenium meltdown a man made problem due to the fact that most stuff was computer (digital) and some stuff could not handle the date or something like that...???Horus wrote:I agree with that Bill it will be just another Millenium meltdown, Yea well that was a big deal wasn't it? All the doomsayers do is to move onto the next disaster date, they are bound to get it right at some point in time, a bit like astrologists.
I think with reading NASA and other stuff that its similar to jewels post, we are getting close to a huge solar flare which happens every so many years, the magnetic fields caused from this could affect all satelittes, mobiles and computers which would cause havoc worldwide as everything is virtually run by them,.
Just look at all the natural disaters we have had in the last few years, from floodings to volcanos on a scale never seen before in such a short time span.

Thats True Keefy, and its a coincidence or maybe not that the last massive tsunami hit on Boxing day a few short years ago again in the pacific, hit 2weeks after it was reprted that the moon was the closest it had been to earth.
BUT now that my practical head is back on, we may find that indirectly our pockets are actually affected as a result of the tsunami hitting that Nuclear Plant.
They may be needing power supplied to them, putting our fuel bills up again depending on where we are buying our supplies from.?
Interesting times we are living in

Yes that's right Keefy but it was all doom and gloom at the time, we were going to have chaos according to some. The fact that old Bill Gates had only put the date software up until the year 2000 and chaos would ensue, everyone was encouraged to have all their software checked by specialist to see if it would still work after the date 1/1/2000 because all software is date dependant.
Easy solution was to just put your PC clock forward to that date and try it, if it didn't work then put your PC clock back a couple of years until they brought out a fix, no big deal and no chaos either.
As to natural disasters, well they happen all the time, the big difference is that we live every one that happens in real time with 24 hour TV coverage, so it all seems to be going on all around us. That exact Tsunami happened around 100 years ago in the same place and like San Francisco, Pompei and even Santorini, they will all happen again. Turkey is poised for a real biggie that will cause massive damage to Istanbul, there is a geological fault moving across Turkey and it is not a case of if, but when it hits them.
All these areas sit on oceanic plates that are moving past each other and trying to form another super continent like the one called Pangea that existed millions of years ago before eventually breaking up to slowly form our continents today. Eventually the Mediteranean will close up, Africa will crash into Europe, the Red Sea will close up and Egypt will collide into Saudi Arabia. The whole of Yellowstone in the USA is a massive volcano that when it blows will end all life on earth as it did in the past.
Solar flares happen with regularity with them getting to a maximum of activity on about an 11 year cycle, the last one knocked out most of Canada's electrical system.
So do I think the end of the world is nigh? Yes I do, but not just yet.

Nature is very resilient and from a human perspective, cruel.
However, some constants cannot be ignored. If it works it works, if it doesn't, then it's history.
Truth be known, we were nearly wiped off the face of the earth less than 6 years ago. It must have been decided not to tell the populous.
Fortunately, the calculations were wrong, and the incoming meteorite missed us, but it was seen in the very early morning in California. That's when the news came out from amateur astronomers who reported it.
All the more reason to live for the moment...

We just been watching Brian Cox on BBC2 in his new series "The wonders of the universe"............fascinating and compelling watching, and according to him we all (the universe) will eventually sink into chaos and become protons once more before becoming.....nothing puts it all in perspective really. It may take a few trillion years mind, so watch this space
The Himalayas were once on the ocean floor, could you credit it and look at them now
